LANCER RGB DDR5

ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF YOUR GAME

Clearly "blizzard white"

The LANCER RGB DDR5 is also available in "blizzard white" for those who want a different, all-white PC.

A new speed record in game memory

The XPG LANCER ushers in the DDR5 era of gaming memory. Capable of reaching frequencies of 8000M/s, it will offer you a major performance boost for gaming and overclocking.

* To overclock to 8000 MT/s, a motherboard supporting the Intel® Raptor Lake-S Refresh (14th generation) processor in the list is recommended.

** The DDR5 series overclocking memory products are equipped with Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO (Extended Profiles for Overclocking) technology. To achieve the officially advertised overclocking speeds, users must enable the XMP or EXPO function in the BIOS and use a compatible motherboard and processor.

*** The high-speed memory module requires a compatible motherboard and processor to unlock its full overclocking potential. To take advantage of the officially specified overclocking performance, simply enable XMP or EXPO after installation.

RGB your way

Configure the RGB lighting exactly how you want it. Choose from various effects (static, breathing, and comet) or synchronize the lighting with your favorite tracks in Music mode. All of this is done through the RGB control software of all major motherboard brands.

Create a custom sound and light show with XPG Prime

The XPG Prime lighting control software allows you to define unique DRAM lighting effects, and you can also synchronize all Prime-supported XPG RGB products to create imaginative light shows and shape your own Prime ecosystem.

*After selecting Prime as your lighting control software, be sure to close all other lighting control software from manufacturers such as ASUS/ASRock/Gigabyte/MSI. Conflicts may occur when using Prime with motherboard RGB software. For more details, please refer to the FAQ.

**If you wish to use Prime after installing the MSI lighting control software, you must uninstall the MSI software, turn off the power, and then restart before installing and activating Prime.

Improved power management

The XPG LANCER DDR5 features a power management integrated circuit (PMIC) that improves power supply stability. Its lower operating voltage also makes the LANCER more energy-efficient than DDR4.

Stability and reliability

With on-chip error correction code (ECC), this module can correct errors in real time to provide increased stability and reliability.

Constructed from quality materials

High-quality integrated circuits and PCBs ensure uncompromising performance and reliable overclocking, making the module ideal for gamers and overclockers who want to stand out.

AMD EXPO

Support for AMD EXPO (Extended Profiles for Overclocking) and compatibility with the latest platforms to offer reliability and stability.

*AMD EXPO only supported by DDR5 memory with a speed of 6400 MT/s or less.

Overclocking becomes easy

Thanks to Intel XMP 3.0 support, overclocking becomes easy without having to worry about BIOS settings. There's no longer any need to constantly adjust and tweak overclocking parameters.

*The high-speed memory overclocked above 7600 MT/s (included) must be paired with a matching motherboard and processor to fully achieve its overclocking potential. After installation, XMP must be enabled to activate the overclocking speed indicated on the product.

Quick tips: DDR5 vs DDR4 - Aspect

DDR5 U-DIMM modules have the same dimensions and number of pins as DDR4 modules. The most obvious difference is the position of the security notch. Additionally, DDR5 modules incorporate I/O resistors in addition to the CMD/ADD resistors. Finally, DDR5 modules have a cleaner appearance than DDR4 modules. Furthermore, you can see a PMIC in the center.

Quick tips: DDR5 vs DDR4 - Chip architecture

DDR5 memory modules offer twice the capacity of DDR4 modules by incorporating more banks and bank groups. Furthermore, the burst length and pre-read speed are also doubled. And to ensure data integrity, they feature error correction code (ECC) technology.

Quick tips: DDR5 vs DDR4 - Performance

The biggest change is that the bandwidth and frequency are significantly higher. ADATA DDR5 memory modules offer frequencies up to 4800 MT/s and a bandwidth of 38.4 GB/s, which is 50% more than DDR4-3200. The maximum frequency is 1.63 times that of DDR4.
